PROJECT ENGINEER (CIVIL) (Code: PECMBH)

Based in Lagos - Nigeria

Main responsibilities
* Execute timely completion of civil works for 330kV/ 132kV/ 33kV Sub Station and EPC Projects.
* Lead the team of local contractors, local project execution engineers and contract workforce.
* Plan for manpower and financial resources.
* Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, employs, trains, supervises, and evaluates local staff.
* Develop and manage budgets for the civil works and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.
* Oversee the civil execution of erection projects.
* Recommend and participate in the development of Company/ Group policies and procedures.
* Closely liaise with the vendors, client and contractor.
* Carry out costing for civil and structures during tendering and execution stage.

Desired person specifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in Civil construction activities out of which, at least one year should have been in project execution (for 330kV/ 132kV / 33kv sub stations).
* Should have been a leader at a project site for at least one project in independent capacity.
* Techno-Commercial acumen and Project Management Skills.
* Willingness to travel. Should be ready to relocate to project site when required for effective implementation of the project.
* Experience in foundation and structural design will be an added advantage.

Desired person specifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in project execution (as 330kV/ 132kV / 33kv sub stations).
* The candidate should have been a member of execution team of at least two EHV/HV Substation erection Projects.
* Should have been a leader at project site for at least one project in independent capacity.
* Techno-Commercial acumen and Project Management Skills.
* Good technical knowledge in Electrical Sector with field experience.
* Knowledge of applicable legislation, standards, policies and procedures within the specialty area.
* Willingness to travel. Should be ready to relocate to project site when required for effective implementation of the project.

Main responsibilities
* Marketing of electrical products for distribution utility.
* Planning appropriate marketing strategies for market development in the respective country.
* Identifying business opportunities and developing business segments/ markets.
* Working closely with distribution and transmission utility in the respective country.
* Development of product specifications, tendering and marketing strategies.
* Preparing and negotiating contracts.
* Planning, developing and implementing strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the organization.
* Organising technical seminars and presentations

Desired person specifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in similar industry.
* Prior experience of marketing products to electricity utility is a must.
* Techno-Commercial acumen and ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements.
* Experience in tendering and costing.
* Willingness to travel
* Should be self motivated.
* Willingness to learn local language (for positions in Indonesia & Ghana).

Candidates selected for Indonesia and Ghana will be required to undergo three month’s orientation programme on the company’s business activities in Nigeria.
