Rabobank International Indonesia is a joint venture bank focused in Food and Agribusiness, Media, Telecommunication and Internet sectors. In order to expand its banking operations, we currently looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and dedicated person to fill the following position:
TELLER (Code: TL) – contract basis
Main duties/responsibilities:
* Handles all teller transactions including but not limited to the following:
o Cashing of local currency cheques
o Cashing of Rabobank’s Travelers Cheque
o Cashing of Rabobank’s Bank Drafts within the assigned limits and verifies the validity of endorsements and the identification of presenters
o Processing checks for clearing
o Money changing transactions,
o Cash receipts and cash deposits
o Internal cash transactions
* Verify the signature of customer’s transaction.
* Inform Supervisor if Cash in Vault is insufficient/ over.
* Monitor and maintain sufficient inventories of Check and Giro billet books.
* Maintain all Customer Account Documents (CAD) relating to the opening and closing of private and corporate accounts, including updating the Specimen Signature, Fax Indemnity and Hold Mail List.
* Produce the cheque and giro billet book at the client’s request.
* Prepare the “Teller’s Daily Cash Record” to be submitted to the Supervisor at the end of the day.
* Prepare withdrawal letter of Cash from Bank Indonesia to have sufficient Cash in Vault.
* Provide monthly Volume Cash Report
Customer Services
* Input and file properly all the customer service transaction into System Package.
* Handle customer inquiries over the counter and over the telephone.
* Prepare the Daily Customer Statements, based on standing instructions.
* Prepare SWIFT tracer related to unclear message of payments
Requirements:
* Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Banking, Finance or Economics
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Minimum 1 year experience in the same position
* Age between 23-30 years old
* Willing to be employed under contract basis
