We are involved in every step of the seismic journey from full multi-component acquisition to licensing of non-exclusive multi-client data. In Jakarta, Fairfield has the most advanced seismic data processing centre, and for this facility we require the services of:
1. Chief Geophysicist
Responsibilities:
• To provide technical assistance to Technical Director, and to clients• To oversee technical output of processing centre
• To provide and implement hands-on processing solutions
• To assist in production, and technical marketing, as required
Requirements:
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Minimum bachelor degree in Geophysics
• Minimum 20 years experience in Seismic Data Processing including, but not limited to: ( a.2D / 3D Onshore Data Processing, b. 2D / 3D Marine Data Processing, c. Transition Zone Processing)
• Up to date in current technologies including : (a. Refraction / Residual Statics Methodology,b. PSTM,c. PSDM)
• Excellent skills at technical QC problem solving
• Communication skills to processing groups
• Ability to positively present technical details to clients
* Previous experience with ProMAX and LINUX preferred
2. Technical Sales & Marketing Professional
Responsibilities:
• To develop client-customer relationships and create new business
• Identify industry activity
• Communicate to management
• Assist in technical marketing
Requirements:
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Sales/Marketing experience
• Knowledge of oil and gas E&P industry
• Knowledge of seismic data acquisition and processing
• Communication and presentation skills
