Trade Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Trade Sales, this role will require you to perform financial measures: you will have to contribute to business unit meeting or exceeding budget by achieving NPAT, EVA and cost to income ratio as per annual plan and meet business volume targets from existing relationship client base and establish new customers. You also have to be well managed in risk management, productivity and operational quality with full compliance to risk management procedures and controls and comprehensive monitoring of all transactional exposures. Customer Satisfaction needs to maintained with drive for customer focus and satisfaction goals. You will also be expected to do financial analysis where you have to have a basic understanding of balance sheets and how they work and also an ability to read and understand straightforward cash flows with an added ability of inspiring others.

Mandatory Skills

Tertiary qualification in a business related discipline is preferred with strong track record in a growth sales environment. Proven ability to manage and motivate a high customer service oriented culture. With any previous experience in the field of solution finding within the field of Trade and Risk Advisory/ Management will be an advantage.

Minimum 7 years in the markets with strong knowledge of domestic trade markets and knowledge of products and services. You will also be expected to have the ability to build relationships and networks with strong negotiating and influencing skills with customers by being customer focused and deliver results. You are also required to be able to solve problems and also create an inspiring and collaborative climate.
