Senior System Administrator – Sun (SSA)
Specific Requirements:
* Minimum S1 in IT or related subject from reputable university
* Minimum 5 years experience in related field, experience in telecommunication or related industry is preferred
* Sun, HP or Unix certification is an advantage.
* Familiarity with Sun Micro system server hardware, HP Itanium system and HP PA-RISC system, Storage Area Network and software, and Cluster environment is a must
* Strong independent work ability
* Good written and spoken English
Job Scope:
* Formulate, deploy, configure and maintain IT infrastructure as appropriate, this include server hardware, Storage Area Network (SAN), server operating system, and application server
* Develop standards for server systems, to include standards for equipment, operating system and system security.
* Provide technical expertise regarding server system in 24x7 environment and cluster environment.
* Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products
* Provide recommendation on vendor products, and coordinate and facilitate vendor interviews and presentations
* Provide on-call support and troubleshoot application server and hardware issues.
