AVP Sales, Cash Management
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Manage and develop a sales team responsible for serving the domestic and regional cash management needs of the Corporate and Institutional customer base.
2. Respond to, and satisfy, customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
3. Proactively participate in driving the product development cycle.
4. Promote HSBC's cash management capabilities internally and externally in order to improve awareness of the cash management business and to improve and generate business development opportunities.
5. Ensure a smooth transition of cash management wins from Sales to Implementation
6. Ensure service quality and profitability to meet customer and bank expectations. Ensure accurate MIS reports are delivered in a timely manner.
Major Challenges:
1. To develop and manage a sales team with responsibility for marketing cash management services in IMO (Indonesia Management Office) and the Asia Pacific region that meet the needs of an increasingly sophisticated and demanding corporate market (local and multinational), ensuring that HSBC offers high quality, specialized services that are comparable and, indeed superior to our main competitors. To be instrumental in acquiring profitable business opportunities for the Group, through the effective introduction and cross-selling of a wide range of cash management products and services.
2. A major challenge is to generate profitable revenue streams through the provision of quality cash management solutions and cross-selling of other Bank's products and services. The ultimate challenge is to ensure cash management is a major contributor to Group economic profit, by enhancing and defending the profitability of existing relationships.
3. To meet aggressive Sales objectives, by successfully increasing cash management revenues and defending economically profitable relationships, through the development of a first class sales force and product suite, needed to secure cash management mandates.
Requirements:
* Possesses at least 6 years' managerial experience in corporate banking handling trade finance, treasury and custody products
* Previous experience in cash management or electronic banking is not essential, but would be an advantage
* Has proven track record in selling complex banking services to external parties
* Has excellent interpersonal and customer presentation skills (including the use of Power Point and system demos)
* Is a self-driven individual with a passion for sales.
