What Opportunities Are Available?
IDS is offering the right candidate, through its Accelerated Professional Program, the opportunity of a career in Supply Chain Management in Indonesia in a fulltime management trainee for 24 months (July 2007 – June 2009).
The Management Traineeship is for the graduating class of 2007 at the Bachelors or Masters level with minimal previous work experience. Trainees will be put through a 2-year program, starting with a 12-month rotation across a number of IDS functions around Asia, to learn the basics of the business – the ‘Fundamentals’. This will lead to the second year, when the Trainee will be attached to any one of the 3 main business streams (Marketing, Logistics, or Manufacturing) for an in-depth understanding of the operations in that field – the ‘Deep Domain Experience’.
Attractive salaries and benefits will be given. Upon completion of the traineeship, the Trainee will have opportunities, in line with IDS’ needs, to assume business responsibilities in his/her field of chosen interest.
How Will You Be Selected?
For the Management Traineeship, the recruitment process mirrors that of the Internship, except that following the on-line assessment, selected candidates will be further invited to attend a final panel interview at a convenient site in your country in April/May 2007. Successful candidates from the panel interview will be offered the traineeship by end May/early June 2007.
It is envisaged that successful candidates will be on board in July 2007, depending on the university calendar and on the location of the candidate’s posting.
Have You Got What It Takes?
Management Trainees:
* Graduates at a Bachelors or Masters level
* Majored, preferably, in any one of the following subject areas - Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Industrial Engineering, Marketing
* Demonstrated a combination of strong leadership abilities with outstanding entrepreneurial, communication, and people oriented qualities
* Agree to travel, be open to different experiences and be flexible in undertaking a variety of tasks
* Excellent English proficiency
