A leading Oil & Gas downstream operating company in Qatar is seeking to recruit the following professionals:
Mechanical Engineers & Supervisors
Coordinates all the Maintenance activities with production plant to guide and direct the multi-craft maintenance teams with central workshop support in case of need to provide direct maintenance support on site according to daily work priorities or planned shutdown Ensuring that the required feed back data and information is provided to the concerned maintenance section (Planning, Reliability, Electrical / Automation).
Minimum Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7 years maintenance including supervising personnel, Planning Engineering and repair of machinery and equipment.
• Good spoken, written English and computer Literacy.
Mechanical Technician
Carries out the skilled maintenance and repair of various types of equipment and machinery. Includes regular monitoring and rectification of defective equipment on site. Carries out major overhauls of mechanical equipment. Optimizes the utilization of maintenance resources.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary education, followed by 2 years formal training in mechanical maintenance or equivalent.
• 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance work.
• Fair understanding of English and computer literacy.
• Driving License preferred.
Electrical Engineers & Supervisors
Directs & supervises the maintenance and repair of the Company’s overall electrical equipment and systems as well as supervising the activities personnel involved in the preventive maintenance and repair work. Coordinates and guides the subordinates in carrying out electrical maintenance activities between different areas of the plant, Preparation of the monthly reports and annual budget & ensuring that the safety regulations and standards are maintained.
Minimum Requirements:
• B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• 8 years experience in electrical maintenance preferably in chemical company.
• Good spoken and written English.
Electrical Technician
Carries out complex maintenance for variety of electrical systems, equipment and plant networks in accordance with established schedule. Trouble shoots all types of electrical breakdowns as required. May work in shifts.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary education followed by 2 years formal electrical training leading to a diploma.
• 5 years experience in electrical maintenance preferably in chemical company
• Fair knowledge of spoken, written English and computer literacy.
Production Engineers
Plans and supervises the activities of assigned personnel in providing efficient cost, effective and safe production and bagging of low density polyethylene (LDPE), issuing shift, manning schedules, and ensuring safe daily operations. Recommends and initiates requests for product analysis and testing.
Minimum Requirements:
• B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years plant operating and/or technical experience in the petrochemical industry including at least 3 years supervisory experience.
• Good spoken and written English.
Production Supervisors
Coordinates and participates in all activities related to the Company’s on-the-job training programs for Production Staff. Creates Operating Instructions based on Licensors and Vendors documents, according the specific format.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary education, followed by 2 years formal training in a technical or scientific discipline.
• 8 years’ experience in plant operations, ethylene or refinery plants.
• Good spoken and written English.
Loading and Forwarding Foremen
Directs all container stuffing, truck loading and container loading operations at the jetty.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary education.
• 6 years’ experience in shipping and stuffing and also warehousing.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Computer skills and Information Stock Control System.
Outdoor and Loading Operators
Carries out a variety of operating duties on assigned shift in assigned plant (LDPE, Ethylene or Utilities).
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary education (Science), followed by 2 years full time operations training.
• 1 years’ plant operating experience including on and off the job training.
• Fair knowledge of English.
Receipt Technician
Oversees and participates in the receipt of all materials delivered to the Company warehouse, whether industrial or non-industrial, including items regularly stocked in store plus items ordered under supply requests. Processes Shipment Advice/Service Requests for machinery to be repaired by manufacturers/contractors.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of Secondary (12 years) education.
• 5 years’ experience in materials receipt as a material receipt clerk preferably in an Oil and Gas company, including on-the-job training in computers.
• Good knowledge of English.
Logistics Officer
Carries out the necessary for a quick and efficient transfer of goods from ex wks to the plant, and in reverse logistics as well. Organizes and overviews the safe and secured shipment of goods purchased in the least possible time with the minimum handling, at the lowest cost. Safeguards the company’s quality, logistics & responsible for cargo management, safe and secure receipt, prompt and accurate inspection, precise recording, adequate stock preservation and prompt locating. Participates in various logistics projects.
Minimum Requirements:
• Higher Diploma in any technical trade.
• 7 years experience O&G in an industrial warehouse, all areas of logistics and management, experienced in customs clearance.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management System and Environment Management systems and standards.
• Good spoken and written English.
