VACANCY AT PT Meares Soputan Mining; 3 positions

PT Meares Soputan Mining is developing the Toka Tindung Gold Project in North Sulawesi. Applicants are invited for the following positions :

MINE OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT (MOS)

Roles and Responsibilities :

The primary role of the mine operations superintendent will be to ensure that the mining activities of the mining
contractor, civil earthworks contractors and the blasting management services provider are in accordance with the mine plan.

Specific Requirements :
Ability to obtain a Wakil Kepala Teknik Tambang qualification.

MINE PLANNING SUPERINTENDENT (MPS)

Roles and Responsibilities :
The primary role of the mine planning superintendent will be to supervise, facilitate, direct and train the mine planning engineers in their duties. He will also develop the strategic plan to meet corporate goals and ensure the mine plans address all aspects of the mining operation.

Specific Requirements :
1. Surpac mine planning software utilization is essential
2. Experience in budgets
3. Experience in Pit Optimization and strategic long term planning

IMPORT CLAIM OFFICER (ICO)

Roles and Responsibilities :
Preparing documentation for the presentation to the taxation authorities for the exemption of payment tax. Liaise with the other department to obtain the relevant paperwork to ensure the timely lodgement. Report to management on a regular basis as to the status of applications and the documentation required.

Specific Requirement :
1. The candidate must be familiar with the type of exemption application.
2. A good structured approach to record keeping and experience in shipping and importation

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS :

All positions require the following qualifications ;
1. Degree in mine engineering or related field.
2. Approximately 10 to 15 years experience in the mine supervision or mine engineering.
3. Contractor management preferable but not essential.
4. Project management and planning experience preferable but not essential.
5. Good communication skills.
