PLANT MANAGERS – Indonesian Operations

What Our Company wants
Based in Indonesia, you will report to directly to the Regional Operations Manager (ROM) at our Regional Operating Headquarters located in Bangkok, Thailand. You will assume overall responsibility of ensuring the profitable operations of Phillips Plants that will be assigned to you in Indonesia. You will, however, include any additional area of responsibility that the ROM will assign to you. Basically, the duties and responsibilities of the Plant Manager, among others that may be added, are enumerated below.

1. Act as manager of a company, plant or factories of Phillips companies;
2. Prepares tactical and strategic plans in behalf of a company, plant or factories;
3. Reviews and analyzes management and financial reports and explains and discusses said reports with key management personnel of company, plant or factories;
4. Conducts review of business processes and quality improvement in companies, plants and factories;
5. Conducts cost reduction programs and efficiency programs;
6. Designs and conduct training programs for key management staff and personnel; and
7. Other duties that may be assigned by the ROM.

To Qualify

Since this is a very important position, you must possess:
* Minimum of five years experience as General Manager or Factory Manager of a Plant;
* College degree in engineering, management, or equivalent course; a Masters Degree will be a plus;
* Adequate knowledge of food safety and HACCP and its implementation, more particularly related to seafood processing;
* Willingness to work with people and team player;
* Preferably experience in seafood business; and
* Excellent inter-personal skills; detail-oriented, patient;
* Ability to speak and write in English, in addition to Indonesian Bahasa;
* Working knowledge on Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook; and
* Ambitious with good work attitude, ability to motivate people to perform beyond the normal requirements.
