Oil Gas Job: Velosi LLC Oman; 11 positions

Velosi LLC, Oman has long term QA/QC and TPI Service contract with major Oil and Gas operator in Oman and we are looking for Dynamic engineers to join our team of more than 100 Engineers in Sultanate of Oman for the following positions with work pattern 62 days working and 29 days off with return ticket home town. Duration of project is approximately 2 years. Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Code : SQAE
• B.Sc./B.E Preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy. Chartered Engineer (M.I. Mech. E or M. I. Chem. E)
• Registered IRCA Lead Assessor or its equivalent. Knowledge and training in the ISO-14000 and 18000 Series standards is preferred.
• NDT level-II in RT, UT, PT and MT
• Welding Inspection Qualification (CSWIP 3.2 or AWS- Sr. CWI)
• Painting Inspector Qualifications (ERS 2 or NACE)
• At least 12 years of experience in the construction of onshore oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries facilities including live installations.

Welding and Painting inspector – Code : MDI

• Diploma or graduate or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or Welding Engineering or Metallurgy
• Welding Inspection Qualification, (CSWIP 3.2 or AWS - Sr. CWI or ERS or equivalent)
• NDT level-II in UT, PT, MT (ASNT or PCN or equivalent) qualifications
• Painting Inspection Qualification (BGAS/ERS 2 or NACE or equivalent)
• At least 12 years experience in inspection, welding, radiographic interpretation, review and approval of Material certificates, NDE, Painting, Welding procedures and welder qualification; GRE pipe Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries,

Civil Inspector - Code-CI

• B.Sc./BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• At least 12 years in site construction Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Inspection work of civil projects in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries
• Knowledge of relevant International standards, codes, specifications for civil design, construction and testing of materials and works.

Electrical Inspector - Code-EL

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
• At least 10 years in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection and construction commissioning and maintenance of HV transmission networks, sub-stations motor control centers, electrical apparatus in hazardous areas, earthling work for projects in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Construction Facilities
• Familiar with IEC, BS, and other international electrical Codes & STD’s. specifications.

Instrumentation Inspector - Code-EI

• B.Sc. in Instrumentation Engineering
• At least 10 years in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, construction, commissioning and maintenance of SCADA and instrumentation work for projects in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Construction Facilities.
• Fully familiar with instrument construction materials and construction methods, testing of instrumentation and installations
• Familiar with international electrical Codes & STDs. specifications for instrumentation equipment design, construction and testing.

Senior Pipeline Inspector - Code-SPI

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engg. Metallurgy or Welding technology.
• Senior Pipeline Inspectors qualification strictly to ERS or a CSWIP Senior Welding qualification with additional qualifications in coating, painting, UT and MPI to ERS-2 requirements.
• Qualifications in other pipeline construction fields (i.e. GRE, GRP pipe system, civil, painting, rock blasting) are considered to be an advantage.
• Through knowledge of and experience in other associated fields related to pipeline construction, i.e. rock blasting, coating, CP, hydro-testing, commissioning are a requirement.
• At least have 15 years relevant experience in pipeline and ancillary construction and maintenance projects in the Oil and Gas industry. Have been employed in this position for a period of not less than 5 years

Company Site Representative - Code-CSR

• B.Sc. /HND in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent or other relevant engineering discipline.
• At least 20 years post graduation relevant experience in all aspects of Construction and Maintenance in pipelines and plant construction in the Oil and Gas Industry.
• Have been recently employed in this position for a period not less than 5 years.
• Experience in installation of GRE pipe system, Duplex & 13 Cr stainless steel pipelines and civil, coating, rock blasting, CP, hydro-testing, commissioning is preferred.

Senior inspection Engineers-Discipline (Mech/Elec/Inst/Civil) - Code-SIE-M/E/I/C

• B.Sc./B.E in relevant discipline
• Knowledge and training in the ISO-9000 Series standards is preferred.
• At least 20 years relevant experience in the construction of onshore oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries facilities including live installations and fully conversant with international codes (ANSI/ASME, ASTM, API, BS, MSS, IEC, ISO) used in oil and gas industry.

Welding Engineer - Code-WE

• B.Sc./B.E in Welding Engineering. Knowledge and extensive experience in all welding processes, materials and fabrication methods in onshore oil and gas industry.
• Capability of preparation of WPS, selection of welding consumables; ability to undertake failure analysis; welding related problems diagnostic and solutions; qualification of welding procedures and welders.
• At least 15 years relevant experience in the construction of onshore oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries facilities (pressure vessels, tanks, mechanical fabrication, pipelines, piping etc.) including live installations.
• Conversant with international codes (ANSI/ASME, ASTM, API, BS, EN, MSS, ISO, DIN etc.) including Shell DEPs.

HSE Advisor Code-HSEA

• NEBOSH (National Educational Board of Occupational Safety & Health) diploma of British Safety Council or equivalent.
• International diploma in safety management (Modules-6) or equivalent.
• National Vocational Qualification Level-3 in safety services accredited by OPITO, BTEC-EDXCEL or IOSH.
• Should posses’ minimum 12 years of experience in HSE management for Oil & Gas Industry out of which 5 years experience in Middle East is preferred.

HSE Inspectors Code-HSEI

• NEBOSH (National Educational Board of Occupational Safety & Health) diploma of British Safety Council or equivalent
• International diploma in safety management (Modules-6) or equivalent
• Should posses minimum 8 years of experience in HSE management for Oil & Gas Industry out of which 3 years experience in Middle East is preferred.
