HR Assistant - Leave & Jamsostek - CARE International Indonesia

CARE International Indonesia, an international Non-Government Organization, is implementing Recovery Programme in the Tsunami hit areas of Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar and Simeuleu. The programme aims to rehabilitate tsunami affected population of the three districts. CARE International Indonesia - Banda Aceh (BA)- are presently seeking personnel for the following position:

HR Assistant - Leave & Jamsostek

Main Purpose:

The HR Assistant - Leave & Jamsostek will operate under the supervision of the HR Sr.Officer - Training & Industrial Relation,
and will assist the implementation of policies and procedures and organization of the HR Unit, especially on Leave and Jamsostek matters, in order to provide sufficient support to achieve the organization target in term of HR function.

Responsibilities:

* To register all CARE new as well as currently working employees but not yet having member cards, staffs with salary adjustment and staffs who quit working from CARE to Jamsostek; to monitor and do revision if needed for staff database in Jamsostek
* To distribute Jamsostek member cards and the balance statement (rekening koran) to all staffs
* To check Jamsostek payment data before sending the Request for Payment to Finance
* To handle all cases related with Jamsostek coverage, such as: work accident, disability and death cases of staffs
* To check and only approve staffs' leave entitlement according to CII policy, then to input to database
* To prepare and check monthly and annual leave balance report for each staff, and later to be sent to CII HQ
* To prepare the unused leave report for staffs who quit working to be sent to the Payroll staff
* Other related tasks assigned by Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Min. Diploma in related field; preferably: business administration, Human Resources, Law
* Min. 0 - 1 year experience in related field and similar organization
* Accurate and detail oriented
* Able to meet tight deadlines and to complete high loading job
* Rule compliance / strict in policy implementation, but high sense of service orientation as well
* Computer literate (esp. MS Office: Word, Excel, Access); database knowledge is an advantage
* Ability to speak and write in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
