HR REPRESENTATIVE

We are now developing the Ujung Pangkah field and have recently become joint operator of the Jambi Merang Production Sharing Contract. We currently have a position open in our Gresik office for the position of:

HR REPRESENTATIVE (Based in Gresik, East Java)

Roles:

As a member of HR & Administration Department, the incumbent has a direct reporting line to the Indonesian HR & Administration Manager.

The incumbent is responsible:
- To deliver a variety of Human Resources services to the business to ensure fair and consistent HR practices are implemented.
- To deliver a broad range of HR and Office Administration services in meeting employee and company related business needs, so an efficient, effective and legally compliant operation is maintained at all times.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer Human Resource policies and office administration (i.e. leave administration, benefits administration, and performance management within the HR practice etc)
2. Manage the HR processes especially, recruitment, employee orientation, performance management, training and development and compensation and benefits administration.
3. Communicate and respond to request for clarification about company policy, man power regulations, salary, grades etc.
4. Manage field employee relations issue.
5. Diagnose business needs and recommend appropriate solutions in addressing employee-related issues to assigned business groups/operations
6. Design and implement various programs within the HR practice (under guidance) as necessary.
7. Establish or contribute to policy development across the regional HR function.
8. Work collaboratively within the SEA HR team and with line management to ensure effective HR and Office Administration service delivery to the organization.
9. Develop and implement policies and procedures in relation to office administration
10. Coordinate administrative services within the Gas Plant.
11. Control budget for office administration as set out in the business plan.
12. Liaise and negotiate with vendors and monitor their performance.


Knowledge/skills:

Ability to develop good relationships with business partners and employees to ensure good working relationships are maintained.
Understand Indonesian Labor Law, interpretations and compliance practices, the regulatory/legal environment for employee relations, general principle of compensation & benefit, corporate & local HR policies, Recruitment & Resourcing
Strong understanding and solid experience in the past to deliver a wide scope of HR and administration services
Ability to set priorities, handle heavy workload and meet aggressive deadlines
Applies knowledge of specifications in relation to car and office equipment
Performance planning & training needs analysis
Administering benefits and other employee programs
Capable of building networks with suppliers and service vendors

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree with at least 9 (nine) years experience in all HR and Office Administration areas
HR generalist and Office Administration working experience
Good external relations networking
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication & negotiation skills
Fluency in English both spoken and written
